MONITORING SCREEN DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more effective monitoring environment at a low cost by eliminating a monitoring screen display means in common to operators such as a projector or the like provided in addition to a CRT or the like for displaying individual monitoring screens for the respective operators in the monitoring chamber of a plant monitoring and control system. SOLUTION: A screen F0 inside a virtual monitoring chamber is displayed at a CRT 1, a virtual individual monitoring screen F10 (F11-F14) as the monitoring screen for each operator is displayed at a virtual CRT 11 in it and also, a virtual common monitoring screen F20 (F22-F25) as the monitoring screen in common to the operators or the like is displayed on a virtual wall surface 20. The operator approaches a desired virtual monitoring screen by the form of walking around inside the virtual monitoring chamber by the operations a cursor 2A and push buttons 2B and 2C on a user interface 2 for moving inside the virtual monitoring chamber and switches the display of the virtual common monitoring screen F20 and the virtual individual monitoring screen F10 corresponding to himself/herself by the operation of three-dimensional display push cuttons 13A-13C on a virtual console 12 combined with the virtual CRT 11.
