Wire mesh foot mat

The mat (1) has protruding brush strips (3) on both sides of the wire mesh (2). They are made of material possessing a low frictional coefficient, especially coir fibres. A braking body (9) is incorporated in the wire mesh to prevent the mat slipping on the floor. The braking body is made of a brush coated with a material, such as latex, to apply a braking action. A number of bristles are collected to form braking knobs.
