Operation of refrigerating plant

A procedure for operating a refrigerating unit has two speed- controlled compressors(2) run constantly to maintain the pressure in front of them and at the output of the evaporators (4) at most 33% below the equilibrium vapour pressure of the coolant. This is related to the temperature at these locations. To be more precise, the pressure in front of the compressors is controlled to be a value between 20% and 5% below the equilibrium vapour pressure of the coolant flowing into the compressors from the evaporators. The coolant temperature is at most 10 degC below the set point temperature of the coldest place(3). The overheating of the coolant in the evaporators is no more than 4 degC.
