<p>PURPOSE:To equalize the required time for fast forwarding to the required time for rewinding by making a reduction ratio of a speed reducing means on the side of a supply reel base larger than that on the side of take-up reel. CONSTITUTION:Rotation torque from a capstan motor 23 rotates a main gear 81, so as to rotate an intermediate gear 75 and a T-reel base 26 via a bypass gear 82, an input gear 84, a driven gear 86 and an idle gear 87. When the reel base 26 is rotated at high speed, the gear 84 is slid on a shaft, so that the gear 84 is engaged with the gear 81. On the other hand, in case of the tape driving method of winding a tape around the outer circumferential surface of a cylinder, take-up torque of the reel base is settled as larger at the time of the reverse rotation than at the time of the forward rotation, because a load due to winding the cylinder with a fixed speed tape is received by a pinch roller 64, a capstan 22 and the T-side reel base 26 at the time of the forward rotation, but only by S-reel base 25 at the time of the reverse rotation. That is, the gear diameter of the reel base 26 is set up to be smaller than the gear diameter of the reel base 25 so as to make their reduction ratios different.</p> |
