PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous detection or a torque phase and to prevent racing of an engine by a method wherein, based on the comparing result of a torque phase starting timing comparing means, release of a frictional engaging device and engagement operation are decided, and a command to operate a hydraulic circuit is generated. SOLUTION: A torque phase starting time comparing means 106 compares a time, beginning with a shift starting obtained by a time measuring means 105 at a torque phase starting timing detected by a torque phase detecting means 102, with a standard torque phase starting time obtained from a standard phase starting time computing means 109, and the comparing result is fed to a clutch release deciding means. The clutch release deciding means 107 decides a time, at which a clutch is released, based on decision of the torque phase starting time comparing means 106 and the time is inputted to an oil pressure command generating means 108. This constitution prevents the occurrence of too early release of a frictional engaging device due to erroneous detection of a torque phase and prevents racing of an engine. |
