PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating and welding apparatus capable of simply replacing the control program in the apparatus and letting a mistake know when an unfitted bar code is read to prevent the failure of welding. SOLUTION: The data of the bar code 9 read by a scanner 2 is collated with the data of a flash memory 6 and, when the processing systems of both of them coincide with each other, welding work is performed on the basis of the data of the bar code 9 and the control program of the flash memory 6 to execute the optimum welding. When the processing systems of both of them are different, a program card 3a is inserted into a card slot 3 to simply replace the control program of the flash memory 6 on the spot.
