PURPOSE:To compensate local shortage of the quantity of light and partial break of a cut line to be caused by asymmetry of a reflecting mirror in flux distribution of the low beam. CONSTITUTION:In a reflecting mirror 3R of a head lamp 2R for vehicle, the reflecting surface 5R is divided into two by a vertical surface including the optical axis thereof so that a reflecting area 5RA occupies a reflecting area larger than that of the other reflecting area 5RB. In a projected pattern obtained by the reflecting area 5RB, of which reflecting area is smaller, a part 18, which lacks the quantity of light, is generated just under an inclined cut line 17L to generate a partial break of the cut line. To eliminate this inconvenience, a supplement reflecting area 18 for compensating the shortage of the quantity of light and for supplementing the broken part of the cut line 17 with a projected pattern 19 is formed as a part of the reflecting area 5RA. |
