PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective member which is fitted to the mounting end edge of the door edge of a car body or the like and in which a aluminum core body whose cross section is oval is buried. SOLUTION: A protective member body 1 comprises a thermoplastic synthetic resin extrudedly molded in a longitudinal direction, a recessed section 2 whose one end is opened for insertion and fitting, a decoration film 4, which is buried in the front face, and an aluminum rolled round bar-like core body 3 whose cross section is oval buried in the inner face side of the decoration film 4 when extrudedly molded. |
