PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a paper surface or the like by providing a data storage medium and a stored data reproducing device with which a data storage section can be provided while being overlapped on the printing section of characters or the like. SOLUTION: A data storage medium 25 is constituted by printing digital data on paper or a card while using ink to generate fluorescent light by being irradiated with specified light. Then, it is desirable for the data storage medium 25 that the specified light is light in an ultraviolet area and the digital data are printed by NRZ codes. Besides, a stored data reproducing device 1 is provided with an ultraviolet lamp 5 for irradiating the data storage medium 25 with ultraviolet rays, light receiving element 11 which has light receiving characteristics in the ultraviolet areas and receives image light generated by ultraviolet rays reflected from the data storage medium 25, and optical filter 13 for preventing any light excepting for ultraviolet rays from arriving at the light receiving element 11. |
