<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum braking device which exhibits the same braking effect as a two leading shoes type with the use of one shoe tensioner actuated by service braking, and facilitates the incorporation thereinto of a parking braking device and an automatic shoe-slack adjuster. SOLUTION: A link 10 is pivotally supported by an anchor pin 2, and is engaged at its halfway with one brake shoe 4. A shoe-slack adjuster 14 is interposed between the other adjacent ends of the link 10 and the other brake shoe 5. The braking force is transmitted between the brake shoes 4 and 5 through the link 10 and the shoe-slack adjuster 14.</p> |
