POWDER FILLING METHOD AND POWDER FILLING STATE OBSERVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly fill a powder for the powder metallurgy in a cavity and to suppress the dispersion of a bulk density. SOLUTION: The powder filling method is composed of a process to supply a powder 1 in a powder box and to float the powder 1 by passing a flowing gas 2 from a gas releasing hole 14a formed on the front face of a tube 14 installed inside the powder box 11, and a process to make the powder box 11 advance onto a cavity 20 and to make the powder 1 fill inside powder box 11 in the inside of cavity 20. In this powder filling method, the displacement of the powder 1 with the air inside the cavity box 20 is executed smoothly due to floating the powder 1 with the gas 2, flying up of the powder 1 in the filling time can be controlled and the dispersion of the bulk density can be suppressed.
