摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of the slip of a frictional element, and certainly transmit an input torque by detecting the rotational speed of the turbine shaft of a torque converter, and calculating a turbine torque by the use of the maximum torque ratio of the torque converter when a turbine rotational speed is at a predetermined value or below. SOLUTION: A turbine rotary sensor 305 is attached to a transmission case, the end of the turbine rotary sensor 305 is attached to be opposed to the peripheral surface of the drum of a forward clutch integrally rotated with a turbine shaft, and the periodical change of a magnetic field is detected, thereby the rotational speed of the turbine shaft is detected. The torque ratio of the torque converter is found out in a manner that the speed ratio of a torque converter is calculated from an engine speed calculated by an engine rotary sensor 303 and a turbine rotational speed calculated by the turbine rotary sensor 305, and adapted to the characteristic map of the torque ratio of the torque converter. Hereby, a frictional element may not cause its slip, and an input torque can be certainly transmitted.
