<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly carry recording paper, for example cardboard, without causing an image defect. SOLUTION: The image forming device electrostatically transfers a toner image on a photoreceptive drum 1a to the recording paper P, and fixes the toner image to the recording paper P by means of a pair of fixing rollers 2a and 2c. A paper carrying means 3 from the transfer position to fixing position consists of a carrying belt 3a and suction duct 3c. Further, the suction duct 3c exerts a suction force only in a zone Wd ranging from the position which is apart from the transfer position only by the length Wp of the recording paper P to the position which is apart from the fixing position only by the length Wp of the recording paper P.</p> |
