METHOD OF EXPLOITING NATURAL GAS AND A MOBILE GAS REFUELLING SYSTEM

The invention can be used in the industrial exploitation of natural gas, specifically in methods of preparing the gas and subsequently transferring it under pressure to the consumer containers and in mobile gas distribution devices. The proposed method involves the steps of preparing the gas and transferring it under pressure to consumer containers. In the preparation stage, the gas is fed under low pressure into a compression vessel where the gas is compressed by injecting liquids into it thereby forcing the gas into an accumulator where it is dried. In the next stage (transfer of gas to consumer vessels) the pressure in the accumulator is monitored to ensure that it does not fall below a minimum level; for that purpose a liquid is injected into the accumulator. The mobile gas refuelling system comprises a platform with vessels (1-4) for gas under high pressure, a refuelling collector (5) connected to gas intake and discharge units and to each of the vessels, a compressor with a hydraulic pump (6) and at least one of the high-pressure vessels. The inlet of the hydraulic pump is connected to a tank (7) for a working fluid, whilst the output is connected by a delivery line via a pilot-controlled check valve (9) and pipeline to the lower section of each vessel. The pilot-controlled check valve is connected via a drainage line to the input of the hydraulic pump. Hydraulically controlled differential flap valves (12, 13) are provided in the drain and delivery lines and are connected to a common hydraulic distributor (14) in such a way as to be capable of operating in opposite phase. In each vessel there are sensors (18, 19) to show the upper and lower levels respectively of the liquid entering from the delivery line.
