PURPOSE:To heighten the operating efficiency of a fluid pressure cylinder by restraining increase in the sliding resistance of a piston due to a pressure difference acting on both sides of a piston. CONSTITUTION:A groove 4 is formed on the base of a ring groove (c) and a seal ring 2 is fitted in the groove 4, thereby regulating the movement of the seal ring 2, so that the pressure between the high pressure side and the low pressure side applied to a piston ring 1 is balanced. |
