PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire which facilitates the production thereof while ensuring a basic function thereof. SOLUTION: This guide wire has a guide wire body 2 comprising a high tensile linear material and having a tapered part 5 which is tapered gradually toward the tip of a tip part thereof and a superelastic alloy wire 4 bonded by an adhesive 3 on the tapered part 5 of the guide wire body 2 extending by a specified length along it. The use of the adhesive for integration between the guide wire body 2 and the supperelastic alloy wire 4 hinders the generation of heat during the integration of both 2 and 4 to prevent the impairing of the nature of the superelastic alloy wire 4 while the working manhour can be reduced by simplifying working itself. Moreover, the use of the adhesive limits the costly superelastic alloy wire 4 to partial use thereby achieving a reduction in costs. |
