<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology by which the volume of excessive sludge produced in biological treatment facilities of organic waste water such as sewage, night soil, waste water from food processing plants is efficiently decreased and no excessive sludge is practically produced. SOLUTION: In this treatment method of organic wastewater 1 by an activated sludge treatment system 2, a higher amount of sludge than the propagation amount of the activated sludge in the activated sludge treatment system is draw out of the activated sludge treatment system and the dram out sludge 4 is fermented in an anaerobic fermentation process 6 and then turned back to the activated sludge treatment system and treated by aerobic biological treatment.</p> |
