PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel needle which is suitable for loop-knitting a cylinder of a small diameter, for example, a glove wrist, a sweater cuff, socks or the like. SOLUTION: In a wheel needle comprising a pair of needles 10, 11 and a flexible wire 12 for connecting the base ends of these needles 10, 11, the flexible wire 12 is flattened. Preferably, the needles 10, 11 are different in their length and bent by a prescribed angleθ1 ,θ2 at an intermediate part in their longitudinal directions.
