The method involves making jacketed bullets using recycled brass cases in a set order using a press. The latter has a roller with punches (19,23) and a common die (20), a stamping die and punch, a core pusher (24) and die (26), a sizing die (27) and its punch and an ejector (28). The press also has a bullet pusher (34) a tool carrier (35) forming dies (47,49) a sprue cutter (62) and its stop, a shaving die (76) and the crimping dies (84-86). Forming of the bullet includes two stages with the conical base of the bullet and the body of the bullet formed simultaneously. An inertia hammer can be used for extraction.
