ELECTRON GENERATION DEVICE, IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND THEIR DRIVING CIRCUIT, DRIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit preventing abnormal lighting and deviation in electron start from occurring while performing current drive profitable for overcoming a voltage drop, an electron generation device and an image display device using it, and their driving method. SOLUTION: Switches changing over a constant current output part outputting a fixed current regardless of impedance of the signal output destination and a constant voltage output part outputting a fixed voltage regardless of the impedance of the signal output destination are connected to data wiring. For instance, a constant current circuit 17 being a sample of the constant current output part outputs always the same currents (I1-In) to a switch circuit 30. Then, pulse width signals (PW1-PWn) of a pulse width modulation circuit 7 switch the case outputting the currents (I1-In) to the data wiring (Dy1-Dyn) with the case fixing the data wiring to the voltage GND.
