PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power steering device which can eliminate the rapid steering torque change at the starting time of power assist and obtain a smooth steering feeling. SOLUTION: Arc-shaped parts of switches 52, 54 united feeding brushes are contacted with an armature 36 of the motor part provided in a power steering device. The switches 52, 54 are oscillated respectively when steering, and the contact positions with the armature 36 are changed from an insulated portion to the portion where the electric resistance is decreased gradually. Therefore, electric current will gradually flow from the portion with large electric resistance to the portion with small, so that a rapid steering torque change at the starting time of a power assist can be eliminated and a smooth steering feeling can be obtained. |
