PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin external agent, enabling the synergistic enhancement of hyaluronidase activity-inhibiting effect of a Melissa officinalis extract and the exhibition of excellent improving effect on skin senile change such as shrink, loss of power, loss of glossiness and flabby skin and excellent in stability and safety. SOLUTION: This skin external agent is obtained by compounding an extract of Melissa officinalis with one or more humectant components selected from an amino acid, a peptide, a protein, a saccharide, a polyalcohol, and their salts and derivatives. The storage stability of the agent is extremely improved by compounding especially hyaluronic acid or its salt among the humectant components. |
