<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a separation failure and a supply failure of sheets by spouting air flow to a sheet loading tray so that the direction may be changed in the direction facing the side surface lower parts of the loaded sheets and the direction to be brought in direct contact with the side surface part, and floating the loaded sheets. SOLUTION: Sheets S loaded on a tray are a little floated from a recessed part toward the front part in the paper feeding direction by the flow of air spouted from a nozzle 105. Simultaneously, only the lower surface sheet of the loaded sheets S is deformed along a recessed part provided on the sheet tray by suction of a feeding means 101. The flow of air from the nozzle 105 enters the formed clearance between the downmost sheet and the sheet S just above it, and the lowermost sheet and the sheet S just above it are separated from each other by an air layer. Flutter so be generated during feeding of the sheets S is further decreased by changing the direction of the flow of air to be spouted from the nozzle 105 into the direction facing the side surface lower parts of the loaded sheets S and the direction directly facing the side surfaces of the loaded sheets S.</p> |
