<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the use of a general purpose printer without using a special software for exclusive use in the printer. SOLUTION: This device is so constituted as to have a host computer 2, a printer 4, a copier 6 and a manuscript furnishing device for conveying a manuscript printed with the printer 4 to the automatic manuscript conveying device of the copier 6. In this case, this device is further equipped with a data changing-over controller 700, which is connected with the host computer 2 through an interface 750 with a parallel data transfer specifications and selectively transfers the data transferred from the host computer 4 to a printer 4 side and to a copier 6 side. The host computer 2 successively outputs a copier control code consisting of a discrimination code having a predetermined number of bytes and the control data having a predetermined number of bytes in succession to the discrimination code and the printing data for printer in succession to the copier control code to the data changing-over controller 700.</p> |
