<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ink composition not causing the swell of types made of a silicone rubber by mixing a vehicle based on a normally liquid glycol ether with a colorant, a dispersant, etc. SOLUTION: A vehicle containing at least 50wt.% normally liquid glycol selected from among polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers (e.g. trioxyethylene n-butyl ether), polyxyethylene alkylphenyl ethers (e.g. tetraoxythylene t-butylphenyl ether), etc., and optionally other liquid vehicles (e.g. fatty acids) is mixed with a colorant(e.g. carbon black or aniline black), dispersant and optionally additives such as an antiseptic and an antimold, and the resulting mixture is kneaded with, e.g. a roll mill to obtain a liquid ink composition for the ink roll of an impact printer.</p> |
