PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make wire inserting work easier by making a distance larger between a wire inserting hole of a joint box and a device mounting surface by arranging a base portion to be fixed to a device mounting surface such as a wall or ceiling and also arranging a joint box through portion projected out to the opposite side of a fixture mounting surface from the front surface of the base portion. SOLUTION: A mounting base 3 comprises a base portion 5 formed by folding and bending to a U-shape and a flange-shaped joint box mounting portion 6 respectively projected out from both the end edges of the base portion 5 which are made of sheet metal formed in one united body. And depending on the height of a side wall portion 5b of the base portion 5, a distance is secured between the joint box mounting portion 6 and the fixture mounting surface. By doing this, wire inserting work to a wire inserting hole 2a of a joint box 1 can be made easier. |
