PURPOSE:To provide a wide belt sander which is suitable for grinding and polishing wood material or the like having a distorsion. CONSTITUTION:Inclination of a head frame 26 for installing a grinding head 40 is controlled by elevation control of elevation levers 7a 7b, a work (w) is held by holding bodies 22a, 22b on a carriage 15 provided at a base frame 1 to run, and a desired work surface of the work (w) is ground and polished corresponding to the running, thereby a material having a distortion or of a varied shape such as a trapezoid form as well as a normal plane surface can be ground and polished. |
