PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily and quickly transport and set a forme cylinder preparing truck, by inserting said forme cylinder preparing truck from the lateral side of a printing line onto said printing line, descending a side shift guide roller and a side shift support roller lower than a caster roller so that said side shift guide roller is able to be changed onto a guide rail. CONSTITUTION:A forme cylinder preparing truck 18 in which ink is set in an ink tank 14 and a forme cylinder 12 is set is inserted from the lateral side of a printing line 10A onto the line 10A. When the truck 18 is on the printing line 10A, a side shift guide roller 20 and a side shift support roller 22 are lowered by a roller elevator 24, so that the former is brought into touch with a guide rail 26, and the latter is in touch with a floor 28. The preparing truck 18 is further raised upward until the preparing truck 18 comes out of contact with the floor 28. Then, the preparing truck 18 is inserted between frames 32, 32 of a printing unit 30. At this time, since the side shift guide roller 20 is guided by the guide rail 26, the preparing truck 18 can be positively inserted between the frames 32, 32. |
