<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menu display system having satisfactory response characteristics. SOLUTION: A server S is provided with a user managing file S1 having a user code, password and, menu item utilize authority information for each user in advance and a menu managing file S2 having the display position of a menu name, execution program for this menu and utilization conditions of this menu for each menu item belonging to the same job. A client terminal C1 receives menu item utilize authority information coincident with the menu managing file related to the user code, this inputted user code and the password from the server S when these user code, password and job class are received as input information, the menu item coincident with these utilization conditions in this menu managing file received by this received menu item utilize authority information is extracted, and the menu name of this extracted menu item is displayed at its display position.</p> |
