PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output document data for which a delimitation is required at a location where the data is easy to be seen by determining the leading figure location of the document data of the delimited rear part according to the figure location of the specified character data included within the document data of the delimited front part when the document data is delimited by a new line code. SOLUTION: When the character string which is the same kind as an inputted character string does not exist within a document memory 16-1, the figure location within the document memory 16-1 in which the character string is stored if the character string is already prepared is detected and the figure location is stored in a figure location register 16-14. In the same line within the document memory 16-1 in which the character string within the character string 16-3 is included, whether character data is stored at the figure location on the left side or not is checked. When character data exists, a new line is started for the sentence following the character string and the sentence following the character string is moved up to the figure location within the figure location register 16-4. As a result, the figure locations of an inputted character string and a new inputted character string are made the same. |
