PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carryout highly reliable recording without using especially a heat radiating member even in the case of a high temperature by detecting the temperature of a process cartridge and altering recording conditions according to the temperature. SOLUTION: A thermister 15 is mounted in the process cartridge B, and temperature in the cartridge can be detected by detecting a voltage in the position of a detection contact 18. Thermister voltage information outputted from the detection contact 18 is converted into a digital value by an A/D conversion means in a control part, a recording medium is carried with recording- medium carrying timing according to the value, and an image is formed. Since when the temperature of the cartridge becomes high, the number of sheets on which recording is carried out is reduced and heat radiating time is sufficiently obtained, toner deterioration such as toner fusion due to the temperature increase is prevented. Therefore, even in an image-forming device provided with no fan and small in size, an image high in quality can be obtained at all times without causing any degradation of image quality. |
