PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a flapping of a traction member even when a bobbing is carried out during travelling and minimize a swaying of a target. SOLUTION: A shooting training device comprises a rail 2, a target carrier 1 which travels on the rail 2, a target device which is mounted on the target carrier 1, a drive device which moves the target carrier toward and away from a shooting trainee, and a control device for controlling an operation of the drive device. In the above construction, the drive device includes a travelling mechanism and a bobbing mechanism which makes the target device appear and disappear by turns. The drive device and the target device 4 are connected to each other by a traction member 4 and trolley wires 7, 8 are provided for feeding only power to the bobbing mechanism from a power source.
