PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a common use antenna capable of both satellite communication and ground communication with a small size, a simple configuration and high degree of freedom by forming an antenna for a linearly polarized wave to the tip of an antenna for a circularly polarized wave. SOLUTION: A helical antenna 11 for a circularly polarized wave is arranged on a cylindrical face of a dielectric cylinder 16 and a helical antenna 21 for a linearly polarized wave is provided onto the antenna 11. A conductor wire 13 for a circularly polarized wave radiation element, a coaxial wire 12 and a conductor wire 23 for a linearly polarized wave radiation element are connected electrically to feeder points 14, 22 of the cylinder 16 via holes (a), (b), (c) respectively. Then the circularly polarized wave helical antenna 11 is used for satellite communication and the linearly polarized wave helical antenna 21 is used for ground communication. Through the constitution above, the common use antenna operated for a circularly polarized wave and a linearly polarized wave is configured simply with a high degree of freedom of design. Furthermore, the plural antennas installed for a satellite communication system cope flexibly with a minimum elevating angle. |
