<p>The present invention relates to compositions for the treatment or prevention of Zoster of individuals infected with Varicella Zoster virus (VZV), and to the prevention and treatment of Varicella infections. The compositions of the invention comprise the protein encoded by VZV gene 63 or an immunologically active derivative thereof.
