Electric depilator for body hair removal

The depilator comprises a carrier with 2 sets of clamp plates (32, 33) arranged in attenuation along a given axis to, to define a series of nips allowing individual hairs to be seized. The carrier is operated by a drive (60), to rotate both sets of clamp plates (32, 33) about the axis, with simultaneouse operation of an offset device, displaced along the axis, for repetitive clamping of the hairs, which are then plucked out. A resetting cam mechanism (70) cooperates with the offset device and is rotated about a cam axis parallel to the axis of the carrier to displace one set of clamp plates (33) relative to the other.
