<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gun-stock balancer of a hunting gun and a mounting method for the gun-stock balancer of the hunting gun, configured to properly adjust the weight and weight balance of the gun through a simple handling so as to improve the hitting precision of, for example, the hunting gun or a target shooting gun with an instantaneous bullet against a game or a target at which a shooter aims. <P>SOLUTION: The gun-stock balancer of the hunting gun includes: a spindle 1 provided with a collar part 1a at one end and a screw part 1b at the other end and inserted into the installed hole 3 of the gun-stock 2; extension members 4, 4 formed of an elastic material into a substantially cylindrical shape, having the spindle 1 inserted thereinto and inserted at both lateral ends; a plurality of types of weight members W; W, W, ..., different in mass, formed into a substantially cylindrical shape and having the spindle 1 inserted so as to be held between the extension members 4, 4; and a nut 5 provided so as to be screwed into the screw part of the spindle 1.
