The roller shutter control (21) comprises a shaft (22), on which the shutter (36) is mounted, and shaft support brackets (28,35). The support brackets are aligned with shutter guide runners (37,38). There are connecting legs (37a,38a) between each bracket and the corresponding runner. The shaft is mounted transversely in the brackets. The brackets have two sets of fixing chutes which receive a connecting leg. A drive belt or a mechanical winch engaging the shaft is located outside the space located between the two brackets. An electric motor (24) inside the shaft is supplied with electricity by a cable (39) passing through one of the brackets.
