<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curable ink which contains a pigment having near-infrared absorption characteristics (e.g. carbon black), which, when used for preprinting a printing sheet, forms an ink film unbreakable, unlike a conventional one, in the subsequent printing process with a flash-fixing NIP, and which gives a preprint optically readable by laser light with wavelengths of 650-1,000nm in a near-infrared region and to provide a printing sheet preprinted using the same. SOLUTION: This ink contains, besides a near-infrared-absorbing pigment, an oxidatively polymerizable vehicle component. This printing sheet is prepd. by preprinting desired prints 3 such as a title, printing spaces, and bar codes on specified parts of the surface of a substrate sheet 2 using the ink.</p> |
