<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a vacant section at the time of a recording mode by adding a prescribed identification signal to the end of a video signal, recording them and controlling a recording pause mode based on the identification signal as a reference at the time of recording. CONSTITUTION:The prescribed identification signal ID is inserted into the beginning and the end of a synthesized digital signal constituting one screen and then recorded. Then, a recording and reproducing system is controlled under the recording pause mode by utilizing an end ID (E.ID). The E.ID is composed of, for instance, (p) pieces of different identification codes. When the recording completion of this E.ID is detected, the recording and reproducing system is controlled under a reverse mode. Then, when a count value becomes (p) -(m), the system is controlled under a reproducing mode. When the E.ID becomes (n) - (m) under the reproducing mode, the system is controlled under a recording mode. Consequently, a magnetic tape is brought under the stopping state, and a magnetic head is nearly opposite to a position of the end of the E.ID, thus eliminating the vacant section under the recording mode.</p> |
