Cutting tool for paper

The cutter consists of a housing which is in two parts in between which a blade (3) is clamped while it is positioned over a protrusion (4). The knife protrudes into a channel formed by the housing and engages with a tongue (1). The tongue is pushed under a sheet of paper which is e.g. still mounted on a drawing board. Flanges (6) on the housing slide over the top of the paper while the knife is pushed through the paper. The flanges can be guided by a ruler.
