A plate (2) is supported on the cooker level (1) and has a circular hole (3) taking the curved pan-base (4). The plate has struts (5) the length of which is adjustable for setting the working height and or the hole has a different diameter on both sides of the plate. The struts may be graduated on their end side (6) facing the plate and fit into matching holes (7,8) in the plate. The holes can be arranged in a circle arc. The struts can fit into a holder plate (9) placed on or forming the cooker level. The holder plate may have a cavity (10) matching the curvature of the cooking pan. The plate and or struts can be made of non-ferromagnetic materials, especially chromium-nickel alloys.
