PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost by arranging plural light sources on a same plane so as to make the light source arrangement compact thereby decreasing number of the light sources. SOLUTION: LEDs of R, G, B of a lighting unit 4 are switched to light up them sequentially thereby controlling the LEDs to emit three color lights R, G, B sequentially to an original supported by a cover glass 5 in an oblique direction of nearly 45 deg.. The three color lights reflected in the original are led to a sensor IC1 by a lens array 3 and the led optical information is converted into an image signal. The converted three colors R, G, B of image signals are sent to the system, in which prescribed processing is conducted to reproduce a color image. Each LED of R, G, B of the lighting unit 4 are arranged on a same plane. |
