PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling built-in type heat exchanging and ventilation device in which its manufacturing cost is less expensive and adhesion of dusts to a driving shaft of a motor or the like can be restricted. SOLUTION: Vane wheel chambers 21, 22 storing vane wheels 16, 17 and the circumferential wall of a motor chamber 23 storing a motor 15 are devided by a fan casing 18. The vane wheels 16, 17 are of one-side suction type where air is sucked from a side opposite to the motor 15. Indoor air is sucked into an air suction port 51 of the discharging air vane wheel chamber 22 through a main air passage 55 not passing through the motor chamber 23 and a sub-air passage 56 passing through the motor chamber 23. The air passages are constructed in such a way that both air passages are fed to the same side of each of the vane wheels, and the sub-air passage using the less-expensive one-side suction type vane wheel can be set to a minimum amount of air volume capable of cooling the motor, so dusts are prevented from adhering to the driving shaft of the motor. |
