摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a coating material from being spewed out of a hole for self-cleaning by providing a collision part on the opposie face of a coating material feed nozzle assembly to which a coating material ejected from peripheral nozzles collides, and an opening part of a hole for self-cleaning in such a manner that these parts are staggered with each other to avoid their mutual overlapping. SOLUTION: A coating material 6 is supplied from at least one of coating material feed nozzles 4, 5, then hits the opposed face 8 of a rotary atomizing head 1, and flows to an outer peripheral part along the opposed face 8. In addition, the coating material is scattered outward from the tip of the rotary atomizing head 1, passing through a hole 13 by the application of a centrifugal force and an electrostatic charge. Further, the coating material 6 is blown forward by a shaping air to be stuck to an object to be coated and the coating is accomplished. In this case, the coating material 6 ejected from the peripheral nozzle 5 collides against the opposed face 8, but does not enter a hole 2 for self-cleaning by the momentum of the ejection, because a collision part 7 is staggered with the hole 2 for self-cleaning. Thus, it is possible to prevent the coating material 6 from being blown out of the hole 2.</p>
