PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the above elastomer free from greasiness, low in modulus and low in creep, high in mechanical strength, comprising a polypropylene, a hydrogenated styrene/butadiene rubber and an epoxidized styene/butylene copolymer. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic elastomer comprises (A) 70-95wt.% of a polypropylene (A1 ) and a hydrogenated styrene/butadiene rubber (A2 ) and (B) 5-30wt.% of an epoxidized styene/butylene copolymer in the weight ratio of the component A1 to the component A2 of 20:80 to 50:50, especially 30:70 to 40:60. The component B having >=5wt.% epoxidation ratio is used. A jacket hose, for example, is obtained by weaving a yarn such as a polyester yarn to provide a cylindrical fabric, coating the fabric with the elastomer in 100-200μm thickness and cooling. |
