A work member fixing apparatus for fixing different work members according to the type of automobiles on an automobile assembly line with a single apparatus is disclosed. The motor(14) is installed at one side of the frame(10) to rotate the rotation shaft(17) via the rotation mechanism(16). The first, second, third and fourth fixing means(18, 29, 20, 21) for fixing a work member according to the type of automobiles are installed at the leading end of the rotation shaft(17) at identical intervals and having the mobile members(26, 27, 28, 29), respectively. The mobile members(26, 27, 28, 29) are moved according to the operation of the cylinder(C1) for claiming. Thus, an accurate clamping is made and inconvenience due to change of jigs can be cleared so that the productivity is improved.
