PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent taking-out ability from being lowered due to a longer conveyance distance than it needs in the case of the taking-out by preventing the stock area and the empty area of a shelf from being spread over the whole of automated storage and also prevent warehousing ability from being lowered by warehousing goods in the unified position of a shelf in the case of the warehousing. SOLUTION: Goods in a stock area near to a warehousing station 5 are moved to an empty area near to a taking-out station 6 to change the goods receiving position during a period of time when the warehousing and the taking- out are not performed. That operation is repeated, thereby gathering all stock areas on the taking-out station 6 side and gathering the empty area on the warehousing station 5 side. As a result, the movement of a crane 7 can be reduced, thereby being able to enhance taking-out ability. |
