Composite textile fabric for clothing

A composite textile fabric has (a) a first hydrophilic fabric layer for rapid absorption of perspiration and other body fluids from the body surface of the wearer, the layer consisting of filaments with a relatively high denier; and (b) a second hydrophilic fabric layer consisting of filaments with a relatively low denier, for drawing perspiration and other body fluids from the first layer. Preferably, both layers consist of knitted or woven polyester, nylon or acrylic resin fabric, the first layer having a denier of /} 6 den (= 6 g/9 km.) and the second layer having a denier of /} 3 den (= 3 g/9 km.)
