Electrolytic cell with intermediate sub-component bonding layer

The electrolytic cell (10) has electrolytic sub-components (12,14) that are separated by an intermediate sub-component bonding layer (16) The first electrolyte has a power collector (18), a primer, an active material and the electrolyte (21). The second electrolyte has a similar structure and the sub-component structure is in the form of a fluid with a polymer monomer that hardens when in contact with both electrolytes. The structure allows bending to take place without fracture occuring.
