The door has a frameless door window pane which can be raised and lowered according to a control travel, a window mechanism with an electric motor drive and an electric controller for the drive. The door contains a lock (5) which operates with a force train contg. an actuation lever (6), release lever (7), blocking pawl (8) and rotary latch (9) and a locking system. The electrical controller has an additional control switch (10) for the lowering motion which responds to the opening movement of one of the elements in the force train. With the response of the control switch to the lowering motion the drive lowers the window at least by part of the control travel.
